Lynx Employment Services are a professional recruitment company based in Attercliffe. Established in 2001, we have provided temporary and permanent staff to many different public and private companies.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking to recruit a Chef for a nursing home in the S35 area.

Duties of the role include:

Preparing ingredients prior to cooking
Preparing dishes from the menu
Planning menus according to a fixed budget, following guidelines on nutrition and healthy eating
Ordering food to meet requirements
Maintaining the cleanliness of the work station, including washing up and disinfecting
Monitoring and replenishing kitchen stock levels
Complying with Kitchen Hygiene regulations, adhering to the health and safety policy

This position is a long-term temporary role, working on a rota of five days over seven, working 7am-3pm, paying £12ph.
