Description

We have a night-time role offering flexible shifts as an experience Support Worker within the Retford area

You will be working in a modern 6 Bedroom detached home setting in the Retford area.

The home caters to the needs of 6 residents with mental health conditions and associated conditions such as autism and learning disabilities.

You will be accompanying residents in daily activities and engaging in a varied activity schedule, including taking service users out for the day.

Due to the nature of this role, challenging behaviour may be expected, and so previous experience in support is essential.

You will be focussed on assisting with the self-development of the residents with the aiming of providing a pathway back into the community.

Monday to Friday £12.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday £13.00 per hour- Working Hours: You will be working from 20:00 to 08:00 with hours available on an ad-hoc basis between Monday and Sunday

Experience & Qualifications:

CAR DRIVERS highly desirable

It is a requirement for you to have an up to date DBS check of the facilities to be able to pay for them.

You must have at least three months experience in a care setting as well as up to date Mandatory training such as moving and handling and infection control.

If not, we have the facilities to assign you the necessary training modules.
