OUTREACH WORKER - Royal Wootton Bassett

The RISE Trust is a charity that works within the North of Wiltshire, and we are passionate about delivering high quality, support services to our children, young people and families.
The RISE Trust works with families to help them to get back on their feet and to deal with life's challenges in ways which make things better for them and their children.

This outreach role will focus on engaging and supporting vulnerable parents at home and in the community, so they increase confidence in their parenting skills and learn new parenting techniques, in order to improve their child's outcomes.
Outreach is delivered on a one to one basis in order to enable parents to feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
There are also opportunities to be trained to deliver courses to parents.Employees have stated:

- Job title: Outreach worker maximum 30 hours per week all year round. Working hours can be discussed (minimum 3 days/week) and can be flexible.
- This post covers the Royal Wootton Bassett area with Outreach worker's base being in RWB Children's Centre.
Applicants must:
- Be passionate about supporting social action and outreach in the community.
- Be an empathetic listener who can empower families to make positive changes.
Have an understanding of safeguarding policy and procedures.

Have excellent diplomacy and communication skills in order to present information confidently.
- Be positive, dynamic, energetic and robust.
- Car driver and use of a car essential.
