Description

Purpose of Position:
This is a fixed term contract until the end of 2023. Working within the Supply Chain team at IRCA Peterborough to create a production schedule to meet our customer requirements. To maintain optimum Inventory levels whilst delivering KPI's through stock at risk management. Commercialise new SKU's and maintain SAP master data.


Responsibilities:


  • Proactively support and comply with the site Health & Safety and Food Safety
policies & procedures.

  • Manage the IRCA Peterborough production schedule to ensure new Customer orders and internal stock transfer orders are planned in the most efficient way possible for production.
  • Review the material availability and confirm production plan release in line with daily schedule and release production process orders to production.
  • Coordinate between all internal stakeholders including Customer Care, RD&A,


Transport Planning, 3PL's, Material Call-off, Production, Quality, Demand Planning etc., to ensure that Customer Requested Delivery Dates are delivered OTIF.


  • Support the Customer credit process and investigation system.
  • Support Customer specific forecast tools.
  • Proactively support and contribute to the short and longterm Capacity Planning process.
  • Manage and report on inventory levels to business defined targets
  • Escalate
anomalies (safety stocks, MOQ's etc.) to Supply Chain Manager to ensure delivery targets are met. Question and challenge the data being presented.

Skills & Experience

  • Food Production planning and Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • Experience in working with SAP in a Food Manufacturing context an advantage.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills are essential, particularly Excel for this role.
  • Analytical, logical mindset.
  • Has excellent time management and organisational skills, being able to prioritise effectively.
  • Natural problemsolver, able to find fast solutions and rectify problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent team player, with proven ability to build positive working relationships across all levels.
  • Experience of working within a Food Manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
