  • Salary: £32,000 £36,000
  • London & Southeast, England
  • This fulltime role combines remote and officebased working. Our office is based in Egham, Surrey (TW20 8HE).

As the business expands into new sectors and funding streams, an exciting opportunity has arisen to support evolving curriculum development needs across the business.


Purpose

  • A key member of the Company's Management Team, working closely with the Head of Quality to deliver the Company's objectives.
  • To provide support of Centre Management and Quality Improvement across all areas of delivery (Apprenticeships & Skills).
  • To work with the Heads of Departments on strategies to ensure the organisation meets the requirements of the Education Inspection Framework and continually adapts to changes in the sector relating to teaching and learning.
  • Work with the Head of Learning Operations to ensure the delivery of highquality learning and effective curriculum planning for Apprenticeships and skills.
  • To drive OFSTED inspection readiness within the delivery and quality assurance teams
  • To support compliance with all the required accreditations, centre and qualification approvals across all Business Units of the organisation.
  • To report to Head of Quality, areas of risk/concern and progress against the Company SAR/QIP, Curriculum Development and the implementation of the quality cycle across the business.
  • To work with Senior Leadership team to promote profitability through strong CEIAG, and efficient delivery models.
  • Support relationships with external partners, prime contractors, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities assigned to include:


  • Development and supervision of the curriculum for apprenticeships, standalone qualifications, and commercial training.
  • To create, review and approve standardised learning resources accessible to trainers and learners.
  • Development and management of Curriculum Strategy & Intent documents, Schemes of Work, Skill Scans and onboarding resources.
  • Work with Business Development Team to provide course content for marketing materials, updating when necessary.
  • Development and management of calendar of events, to promote wider and enrichment activities.
  • Work with Quality Manager to Interpret, create, and monitor all Awarding Body, End point Assessment specifications, ensuring all Teaching and Learning resources are updated.
  • To support the business with varying IQA demand by conducting starter, interim and summative sampling of learners' work in portfolio/eportfolio format.
  • To support the business with varying IQA demand via ongoing sampling; live and current Individual Learning Plan (ILP), correct rules of combination, IAG, evidence of progression on to higher Functional Skills levels, timely and effective progress reviews with SMART targets, portfolio audits, embedding of functional, behaviour and attitude skills, British Values and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
  • To create and update sampling plans for each qualification (and level) to ensure robust sampling across all methods of evidence submission, reflective of awarding body and assessment strategy requirements.
  • To aid in the preparation for EQA visits and remote sampling activities and drive any followup recommendations or actions as and when required; to ensure that Direct Claims Status (DCS) where permitted is achieved, and maintained.
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Quality to achieve ELA Training Service's deliverables as recorded and reviewed on the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) as part of continual quality improvement.
  • To conduct IQA duties as above to ensure business targets will be met as a direct result of the achievement of timely portfolio/ framework completion and End Point Assessment (EPA) activities.

Qualifications - essential unless otherwise indicated:

  • A1 and V1 Assessor and IQA Awards or equivalent.
  • Course development & design experience.
  • Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent (desirable).
  • Certificate in Information Advice and Guidance at level 3 or above (desirable).
  • GSCE English, Maths, ICT at grades C or above) or equivalent.
  • Project Management experience
