Description
Reporting to 'Head of', this role will focus on 'business partnering' the Credit Impairment process. This covers both credit risk and finance stakeholders and ensures the risks and controls are robust both for the delivery of the SOX (Sarbanes

  • Oxley) assuranceand Risk and Control selfassessment processes.
  • Shaping and leading the SOX assurance program for the impairment process working with the key stakeholders across the credit risk and impairment finance teams
  • Critically reviewing existing SOX approach, build on the quality and type of controls; identifying, recommending and delivering on areas for improvement
  • Ensuring SOX scope is regularly refreshed to reflect business and regulatory change
  • Coordinating and planning risk and control assessments, mapping of key processes and controls, control testing, remediation actions, and provide guidance across the end to end impairment process
  • Work collaboratively with our external and internal auditors and across the Finance function
  • As a Senior member of our team, actively participate in driving and supporting the agenda on purpose, priorities, people and engagement
