Description
We are looking for a confident support worker, with 6 months experience having passion for delivering outstanding care in a supported living environment and also out in the community.
The Role:
As a Support Worker you will be able to be apart in the person centred care specific to the service user this role requires.
- Supporting with social and physical activities
- Booking and going with people to appointments
- Helping with personal care such as support with showering and dressing if required
- Supporting with meal preparations eating and drinking
- Following a care plan
- Protecting dignity and privacy
- Promoting independence and choice
This Specific role requires that you have the following:
- Experience in supporting people on the Autistic Spectrum
- Experience in supporting people with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia / Personality disorder / Bipolar
- Experience in supporting people with Challenging behaviour and associated complex presentation in times of crisis
- Resilience
- Laid back approach
- Some or all of the above would be great and some are more negotiable than others
