Two day Nanny role near Alton, GU34

This family are looking for a Nanny for their social little baby boy who will be 8 months old. The role will be two days a week, between Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5pm. Both mum and dad work from home, expect for one day a week where they travel to the office. This is a sole charge, live out position.

Duties to include ensuring the little boy is happy and safe, sterilising, nappy care and all usual nursery duties.

They are looking for a qualified Nanny or someone with good knowledge of the EYFS, to help create age appropriate activities at home, to encourage him to reach developmental milestones.

The ideal nanny would follow the Montessori approach and encourage learning through play.

Mum will cook and prepare his food, so the nanny will only need to serve and supervise meal times. Once the little boy is older, the family would be open to him attend local classes and groups.

The family would love their nanny to use Makaton with their little boy, so experience of this would be advantageous or willingness to learn.

Upper Farringdon, Hampshire, GU34

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of two years nannying experience

Details of any training needed for this job: Paediatric first aid

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: ideally a formal childcare qualification, although not essential if suitable experience with a similar age, along with knowledge of the EYFS

Hours of work: 7.30am to 5pm

Days required: 2 days a week between Monday to Thursday

Pets in the home: 1 cat

Driving required:
Driver with own car (although not much driving required)

Pay:
Up to £17 gross per hour/£16,796 gross per annum
