Empowering Learning are excited to be recruiting for a History Teacher to join a lovely SEND Secondary School in Solihull. The role is to start ASAP and will run to the end of the academic year. The school provides a tailored approach for studentswho have been diagnosed with anxiety/depression and/or autism.


We are looking for individuals that are looking to make a difference to children's education and inspire the next generation.

This role will require lots of patience, resilience and perseverance.

  • Hold QTS
  • Curriculum knowledge of History
  • Have experience working with Secondary School Children
  • SEND experience
  • Be patient and compassionate
  • Be relatable & adaptable to different types of classes
  • Have good behaviour management skills and techniques
  • Be available full time 5 days per week
