Job description
As an Asset Performance Advisor you'll be leading on and helping to shape a variety of work areas to ensure our flood defence assets are effectively managed across Staffordshire, Warwickshire and West Midlands.

You will have an excellent track record of working in partnership with others to reduce the risk of flooding to more households through effective Asset Management.

You'll work closely with Capital project teams as Senior User to ensure we get the best whole-life solutions.

You will also play an important role in coaching and mentoring other team members by sharing your wide knowledge of flood risk management and managing our assets within our IS0 accredited asset management system.

The team
Experience/skills required
As a senior member of the team, excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required to develop skills within other members of the team to deliver our work programme, develop future skills resilience and rise to the challenge of becoming leading asset managers.

Strong influencing, project and programming skills are also required to establish key relationships and ensure the effective planning and delivery of the large asset management programme within the area.

The ability to solve problems and take sound decisions based on data will also form a key part of the role.

A full UK Driving license is required.
