Minimum qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A design portfolio that showcases design principles for web or mobile platforms.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Available to work fulltime for 13 weeks or more with a start date in June or July.
  • Returning to degree program after completion of the internship.
  • Experience in interaction, graphic, or motion design.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Framer Studio, etc.).
  • Knowledge of usercentered design principles.

About the job:

The User Experience team gathers insights and uses them to inspire and inform design.

We are a multi-disciplinary team of Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, User Researchers, Copywriters and Web Developers who collaborate closely with each other, and with Engineering and Product Management, to create innovative, usable products.

In this role, you'll address complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use solutions for users. You will collaborate with teams of other Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process. At each stage, you will anticipate what users need, advocate for them, and more.


Responsibilities:


  • Produce designs that accurately reflect a visual design language or brand guidelines.
  • Test and produce interaction flows and mockups that accurately communicate product functionality to Product, Engineering, and Visual Design team members.
