Job Introduction

At Colas, we are looking for Technology Planning Co-Ordinators to join the Area 9 team, you will be based at our Lydiate Ash depot in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

To be responsible for managing and coordinating resources to support with incident response and reactive maintenance within the Area 9 Network, primarily for Technology Assets.

Main Responsibilities

To provide planning and management of the work and workforce of both internal and external operations, oversee the day-to-day functions of the routine and reactive maintenance works, ensuring productivity and utilization are maximized technology and electrical teams.

You will be responsible for liaison with internal and external resources to ensure the swift response to incidents on the network and allocate orders based on crew availability and supply chain for effective management of the day-to-day network operations for Technology.

You will be accountable for ensuring the corporate procedures are complied with, job packs are relevant and properly prepared, programmes of work are clear and adequate, all relevant records are maintained.

You will respond to high level incidents within the department, engage collaboratively with National Highways and other Stakeholder partners including but not limited to; HETOs, Police, Local Authorities & Supply Chain, engage with Operational Crews to ensure timely deployment of resources and assist with decision making on-site and engage with ROC/ TOC operators.

You will also manage Faults with Technology assets, liaise with TOC/ROC and other Supply Chain and effectively allocate tasks to Engineers and drive productivity.
