About us
We are a multi-award-winning AAT Provider that has been training people to become bookkeepers and accountants since 1992.

We deliver AAT (Accounting and Bookkeeping courses) via Distance Learning across the UK and AAT Accounting Apprenticeships in the South West, although this has recently been expanding across England.

The role
We are looking for a Taunton based invigilator at our exam centre located on Taunton's Blackbrook Business Park. The role will be to invigilate computer-based assessments, ensuring all regulations are met and procedures are followed.

Exams are normally held every other Wednesday, however, during busy exam periods or due to high demand additional sessions are added.

Working hours - Wednesday 8:45am - 4:30pm (between 2-4 Wednesdays per month however notice will be provided)

Experience of invigilation is not required as training will be given. A strong basic knowledge of IT packages included Word/ Excel and Outlook.

Key responsibilities

To invigilate AAT assessments in accordance with the AAT regulations.
To adhere to Accountancy Learning's own policies and procedures relevant to the role, including keeping a professional appearance and conduct.
Provide students with a positive, friendly, and supportive, yet strict exam experience.
Carry out ID checks which each student should provide.
To give the AAT's invigilator announcements before exams start.
Monitor attendance records
Complete incident report forms in case of any incidents, and report them to the Exams Manager

Salary and other information:

The job is hourly paid, £9.50 per hour.
