Social Media Officer with a minimum of 1-3 years of social media experience who feels passionate about using their content and community management skills for a greater purpose.
The role sits within their six-strong Communications and Content team, reporting to the Head of Digital Communications
This is a great opportunity for a Social Media Officer to make a real difference in the lives for thousands of children worldwide and in turn, help shape the future of generations to come who would otherwise not have access to education.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating annual, monthly, and weekly social media calendars
- Developing text copy and audiovisual assets across all the organisation's social media channels
- Coming up with creative ideas for content and different content formats
- Creating content and messaging which conforms to brand guidelines
- Delivering reports and adhoc advice to the Communications and Fundraising teams
- Maintaining and using their social media management platforms
- Supporting their influencer relations and celebrity outreach
Your experience will include:
- An interest in global issues and campaigning through social media channels
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow brand
- Able to follow brand messaging, style and toneofvoice guidelines
- Experience developing high volumes of social media posts within a short timeframe.
- Posting, scheduling and performance reporting. This includes the development of
- Able to work with highprofile personalities and online influencers to provide briefs
- Experience using graphic design and social media tools, e.g., Canva, Adobe, Sprout
- Enthusiastic about all social media channels, staying up to date with the latest
- Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Resilient, a selfstarter and a team player
