Security Officers Female & Male for Searching at a Port Facility

As an occupational requirement, we are seeking female and male applicants due to the nature of the role which will require searching female & male members of the public.

Location :
Poole Dorset

Part Time Seasonal Contract
100 hrs average per month, Seasonal contract from April to October, and extra hours available.

This role is ideal for those people that just want the flexibility of some part time employment and enjoy working with the public as part of a great team.

Shifts tend to start at 06:30 hrs to when the boats depart, being either a three or four hour shifts.

There is a regular 06:30 to 09:30 shift, seven days a week. Hours will include weekend working. During the summer there are afternoon shifts, and there could be earlier starts occasionally. Staff are informed at least two weeks in advance of shift times. Flexibility is essential.

Suitable for all age groups if you hold a current SIA licence and fit and active. Operational training and uniform provided.

Salary:
£11.00 per hour

K9 Security (Guarding) Ltd is proud to be affiliated with the Living Wage Foundation.

Applicants must hold a current SIA Security Frontline licence.

Applicants would benefit by having their own form of transport due to the early start time for the morning shifts or be local to Poole as some shifts are only 3 hours.

Key Skills / Experience
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Experience of working as part of a team or independently

Understand the Health and Safety at Work act
