Permanent, Part Time 14.8 hours per week
Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week
Please note that the roles can either be taken as two part time roles, or one part time role working 33.3 hours per week.
Bristol Shared Lives is a City Wide service recruiting, assessing and supporting self-employed Shared Lives Carers who provide care and support in their own home.
Carers offer short breaks/Respite, Day Support or Long Term placements to vulnerable adults who have been assessed as eligible by Adult Social Care.
You will work as part of a small team recruiting and assessing prospective carers and providing Support and Monitoring to existing carers and their placements.
The role is flexible and varied requiring someone with strong communication and organisational skills who is able to work independently as well as being part of a team.
Experience of working with vulnerable adults in a range of services alongside other professionals and a commitment to providing person centred support is required.
You will be office based in South Bristol (Bristol Community Links South) with some home working.
You need to have a full driving license, with own transport due to travelling across Bristol.
