Goodman Masson have partnered with a leading Financial Services business based in London to assist with their search for a
Financial Reporting Manager for an initial
9 month fixed term contract.

This is a replacement role, as the current person in the role is moving internally into a different position.


You will be part of the UK/I Central team and will be responsible for information consolidation, financial and management reporting, policy and controls compliance and other key strategic projects.


Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee and take responsibility for the planning and coordination of meetings and interactions in order to deliver Pre-Flash, Flash reporting, Balance sheet schedules and Balance sheet decks in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for the review, coordination and calculations of lease reserves
  • Be the main reviewer and approver for UK and Ireland monthly leases in tagetik system
  • Review of monthly Controllership UK & Ireland P&L
  • Monthly preparation and review of company WIP
  • Coordination of Global Central team monthly and quarterly communication, ensuring this is directed to the correct teams to deal with in a timely manner.

Skills/Experience required

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 1/2 years PQE
  • Financial Services industry experience (desirable)
  • Ability to manage and produce high quality work efficiently
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • US GAAP experience (desirable)
  • Financial reporting experience (essential)
