Factory Assembly Operator
We are currently seeking an experienced Assembler to join our client's operation in Coatbridge to start in May 2024.

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products using both power and hand tools. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and showcase your mechanical knowledge and experience.

Depending on your skill set, you may be offered Monday to Friday (days and backs) or be offered a condensed 3 x 12 hour shifts, therefore flexibility for this role is essential.

There will be a probation period of approx 13 weeks, which may be extended, and you will be paid weekly by Purple Giraffe during this timeframe.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Use power tools and hand tools to assemble components and products
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise

Skills:

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
Attention to detail and qualityoriented mindset
Excellent problemsolving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced production.

Schedule:

8 hour shift / 12 hour shift
Day shift / Back Shift
Holidays
Monday to Friday
No weekends
Overtime
Weekend availability

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Salary:
From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
