Job summary:

This is an exciting time to join the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). The work we do has a real impact on jobs and growth across the UK.

Our mission is to help businesses export and invest overseas; drive inward investment into the UK; negotiate market access and trade deals; and to champion global free trade.

The Campaigns Team is a gear change in DBT's ambition, delivery and impact, that will drive a mass exporting movement across the UK and help to drive UK growth as well as inward investment.

We will target business and industry in every corner of the UK and position the UK as the destination for international innovation.

We do this by working closely with our trade offices across the UK and internationally, and by amplifying our messaging across key sectors and markets.

You will sit in the Campaigns Team which is a DBT 'centre of excellence' enabling our Export Directorate to plan a 24 month forward-look of activity ranging from prime minister led investment summits, to export roadshows across the UK working with first time exporters.

This will help achieve better quality, consistency and transparency across activity and provide oversight to calibrate future events.

The Campaigns Project Officer will coordinate a series of workstreams in support of the Campaigns Team.

Our portfolio of campaigns are at different stages of development and the role will be key to providing support in the development, coordination, delivery and monitoring and evaluation of DBT's integrated campaigns, including International Trade Week, activations with GREAT and bespoke Free Trade Agreement events.

You should be flexible, creative, self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail and must have a strong focus on project management.
