Fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys crafting messages on media and keen to work in a childcare industry
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Communications and PR officer to join a childcare company based in Salisbury. This is full-time, 12-month maternity cover position.

Responsibilities as a Communications Officer:

• Liaising with and answering enquires from local and national media
• Research, write and pitch stories, case studies, press releases and features to regional outlets
• Build relationships with key media and negotiating tactical advertising opportunities when appropriate
• Provide internal communication messages to help employee engagement, such as writing, editing, and distributing inhouse key news and support internal communication campaigns
• Creative writing for blogs and news for the website and other social channels
• Organise a range of virtual and in personal events

Person Specification:

• Must have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with writing blogs, liaising with local and national media, and drafting content
• Experience with developing, implementing, and measuring communication plans
• Use of CMS software such as WordPress is essential
• A degree in Marketing/communications or equivalent experience

The Package:

• Monday to Thursday 9:00am 17:00pm and Friday 9:00am 16:30pm
• Hybrid working 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home
• 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

• Salary is between £28,500 £35,663 per annum, depending on experience
