Blackthorn manages accident damage repairs to clients' vehicles these are refferals direct from source following their involvement in a road traffic accident across the UK and NI.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Repair Coordinator to join our team.

About you

  • You are proactive with excellent communication skills
  • You're a real people person who can build trust and support across a wide network of areas
  • Previous experience in a team leader / client relationship / automotive sector / insurance sector is desirable but not essential
  • You will have an attention to detail and accuracy in relation to data
  • You have planning, organisation and time management skills
  • Be able to build relationships and influence outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good computer skills including the use of Microsoft products and web based client relationship / claims management tools
  • Previous experience in customer services / automotive sector / insurance sector is desirable but not essential (we will employ the right person with or without the experience)
Typical duties for a Customer Service Advisor could include

  • Understanding the needs of the individual customer (driver involved in a RTA)
  • Answering customer enquiries
  • Providing information about our services
  • Keeping detailed notes and records
  • Ensuring good customer service for the client
  • Making and receiving calls to clients and other professionals
  • Keeping detailed notes
  • Maintaining customer files
  • Building customer relationships
  • Maintaining good attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Liaise with repair network
