The Salvation Army has worked to support military personnel for over 100 years; supporting from centres like The Vickery Club in the UK and around the world. Why not come and join our dynamic catering team as we provide welfare and support to the recruits, training staff, civilian and support staff at the Infantry Training Centre, Vimy Barracks, Scotton Road, Catterick Garrison.


Some experience in preparing food and cleaning food preparation areas is beneficial, but we will be providing you with full training.


What will you receive from us?


We are offering a permanent contract working an average of 30 hours per week on a two-shift system - alternating between the morning shift (8.00 am pm) and the evening shift (4.30 pm pm).

There will be some weekend work (Sunday evening 4.30 pm pm).


During your morning shift a meal is provided for you plus you will have access to free tea and coffee throughout the day.

In addition, you will be able to park at the centre at no additional cost to you.
