Are you a newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist looking for your first post within a supportive environment?


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, hard working team of Adult Speech and Language Therapists based in Somerset.


As part of this team you will benefit from a range of opportunities to work in different settings and gain valuable experience whilst being fully supported.

There will be regular one to one line management support, peer support, team meetings and CPD activities.


The post is suitable for a Newly Qualified Therapist and full support will be provided to enable you to work through your Newly Qualified competencies.


This is a fixed term post for 12 months and once trained, will involve a mixed caseload of acute, care homes, and acute and community stroke work.

Full Time hours per week

  • To work flexibly as a Speech and Language Therapist across a variety of settings.
  • To assess, diagnose and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across a variety of settings including acute stroke, acute general medicine, stoke rehabilitation and care homes.
  • To be included on the Bank Holiday working rota
