We are looking to recruit Exhibition carpenters. We are a friendly, busy workshop based in Hertford. We work all over the country and Europe.

Working out of our Hertford workshop but willingness to travel, spend time away, and doing overtime is essential.

Pay is based on experience, with a higher rate for overtime and a higher rate still for weekend work.

Must be physically fit. Good carpentry skills and exhibition experience a bonus but not essential.

Driving licence essential.

Must have your own tools and be willing to stay away working when the job calls for it.

PAYE or self employed, will consider part time.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble stands, displays, and other items according to design drawings or specific instructions.
Installing and dismantling stands.
Restore, refresh, and repair any damaged structures or components of existing stands.
Install various types of flooring
Hang doors and under take general basic carpentry job.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Note:
All desirable but not essential.
