Production Planner / Scheduler

We are currently working with a locally owned company in the Tyrone / Armagh area in helping them recruit for a
Production Planner / Scheduler to join their team.

The Role

Liaise with transport planners and customers to ensure orders are being despatched on time and delivered within lead time agreed
Programme and schedule orders for delivery throughout Northern Ireland
Maximise fleet utilization whilst adhering to customer requirements in a prompt and timely manner
Liaise with drivers and deal with any issues that may arise within transport
Work to KPI management reporting on areas such as stock levels, load fill and fleet efficiency
Handling and completion of paperwork
Developing and maintaining good relationships with customers
Planning of loads and driver routes throughout Northern Ireland
Other relevant duties

Essential Criteria

Third level qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Good computer skills
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to prioritise workload
A positive cando attitude

£21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Production Scheduling: 1 year (preferred)
Production Management: 1 year (preferred)
