As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for remote coordination and project management of multiple projects across Africa and specifically in Nigeria.
You will report to the Regional Vice-President for Africa and be responsible for meeting corporate operational and strategic goals and spending most of your time working with customers and partners.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with and coordinating between delivery teams in the US and Europe with local Nigerian partners
- Helping schedule enablement boot camps
- Translating materials and participating in the boot camps
- Working remotely with universities in Nigeria to stagger implementation and coordinate the first batch, then translating these requirements to Anthology Services
- Coordinating between teams (internal and external) to ensure a smooth go live on the Learning Management System project
- Communicating daily on the progress of the project
Required skills/qualifications:
- Understanding of the African market and context (focus on Nigeria is a plus)
- Proven track record of project coordination & management in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English (another local language from Africa a plus)
- Experience working in and a good understanding of the education market and the Higher Ed sector in particular
- Strong listening and communication skills and a style appropriate for the education market
- Indepth knowledge of the project management methodologies
