Role Summary:


  • In this key role you will work alongside our current Accounts Assistant providing support to the wider Finance team, ensuring that all tasks are done to the timescales and standards required.
  • You will manage your own workload and meet deadlines, whilst proactively assisting all members of the Finance team with accounting duties and working collaboratively with the wider business to assist in the service delivery to our Clients and their residents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Processing bank entries on a daily basis, including all cheques and credit cards, working with a high level of accuracy and with great attention to detail
  • To actively work with the purchase ledger team, posting invoices and reconciling supplier statements, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • To provide support to the Credit Controller, answering resident queries and assisting with the debt collection process
  • Assisting all members of the Finance team at busy/crunch times to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Working as part of a team and assisting with cover for other members of the Finance team as required by the manager

Personal Qualities and Experience:



  • AAT or equivalent active studier (or willingness to work towards a financial qualification)
  • Property industry experience (desirable)
  • Understanding of finance and accounting concepts
  • Positive attitude and desire to develop professionally
  • Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work unsupervised in the office environment
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
