At AXA UK, our commitment and investment to support business growth continues and we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Designer to join us as part of the transformational changes in AXA Retail's AXcelerate programme on a 12-month fixed term contract.

As our project continues, you'll start with us in January 2023.


The Claims team here at AXA have a vision to transform the way we serve our customers and so the Business Designer will play a critical role working alongside the Programme Manager and operational managers to understand the outcomes they need and translate them into actional-able and realistic requirements to support our delivery.

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders of all levels, the Business Designer will understand the needs of the customers' and represent this in design documentation to support the ongoing projects for the Claims team.

What you'll be doing:


  • Work with stakeholders to understand their objectives and key results, for consumer and business.
  • Ensure that the customers' needs are understood and represented in design documentation.
  • Document current state customer experience & processes including business rules, data assets.
  • Work with Product Owners to document transition states and aspirational states for: Proposition & Operations using a range of methods including rich pictures, interface mockups, process maps, data flow diagrams.
  • Work with Security, Data Protection, Conduct Risk, Data Science and Architecture to understand constraints and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Draft Story maps, Scenarios and Features with functional and nonfunctional requirements & acceptance criteria ready for working with technology teams.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience of working on large scale programmes within financial services.
  • Working in SAFE or other agile framework to support breaking work into manageable features.
  • Experience working in a Behaviour Driven Development environment (BDD).
  • Can demonstrate experience rapidly modelling using a range of analysis techniques e.g., Rich Picture, BPMN, Service blueprints, Customer Journey maps, Entity Relationship diagrams.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working preferable.
  • Experience working with Robotic process automation is preferable.
  • Able to adapt and reprioritise quickly to ensure that any emerging risks are appropriately managed.
  • Strong experience working in a digital transformation requiring coordination across experience, service, and operations.
  • Can demonstrate they can take a project brief / vision statement and break down into autonomous work packages.
  • Experience with understanding and translating complex business requirements.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and in an environment where priorities change constantly.
