Applicants must have the following essential criteria:

A minimum of 5 GCSE Subjects at Grades A
C (including English & Mathematics) or equivalent.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant childcare qualification, or a qualified teacher, as recognised by the Department of Education. (List of accepted qualifications can be found on the vacancy posting on college website.)
Evidence of working knowledge of computerised software packages such as MS Word and Excel.

Desirable criteria:

Proven experience of supporting pupils in a formal learning environment, including those with special educational needs.
Experience of supporting pupils in a post primary classroom environment, including those with special educational needs.
