Location:
Based in Buxton, Derbyshire

Hours:
Part time with 15 hours per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour

New Centre Opening 2024

Main Duties

To implement and promote the centers policies and procedures
To carry out light physical duties required during housekeeping. Additionally, to carry out deep cleaning of areas as required
To be responsible for maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the home

This is achieved by:
- ensuring the daily thorough cleaning of all communal areas including floor coverings, walls, stairways, windows and emptying bins etc

Ensuring the daily thorough cleaning of staff toilet areas maintaining sufficient supplies of domestic consumables e.g. paper towels, toilet rolls, liquid soap, etc
To work as part of a team and contribute positively to that staff team.
To ensure that all information relating to the home, its operation, and the young people remains confidential
To go about your duties with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to be confident, hardworking and conscientious, and at all times promote good practice
To promote good relations between staff members and families at all times.
To cover any other reasonable responsibilities as appropriate, at the request of the homes management or senior staff

Shift patterns:

Monday to Friday (Working hours are flexible and will be discussed with the manager)

Additional information

Due to the nature of the work that we do at the Centre this would mean we often work with vulnerable children.

A good understanding of the importance of confidentiality is essential.
