Senior Capability Consultant - HR

ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow - hybrid working

From £54, % bonus + car allowance + family person healthcare

Permanent, Full Time

_ Responsibilities_:


You'll be responsible for leading or supporting key projects in the OD / Leadership / Talent and Performance / Learning and Development space either across ScottishPower Group or directly within individual business units.


Working alongside senior capability consultants to deliver key leadership projects you'll support Iberdrola and ScottishPower leadership and learning strategy including leadership programmes, mentoring programmes, digital learning solutions such as LinkedIn Learning.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited too

  • Conducting training needs analysis and diagnostics to assess business requirements and readiness for change
  • Proactively engaging with stakeholders to accurately diagnose and determine solutions that address business needs and improve performance
  • Awareness of and researching ever changing market conditions, emerging trends, and best practice to determine best in class solutions
  • Collaborating with our Learning Operations team to ensure the successful implementation and operationalisation of our learning products and solutions
  • Evaluating learning products and solutions using data and insight to ensure fit for purpose
  • Working with procurement to procure external learning solutions including supplier management responsibilities

_Skills and Requirements_:


  • Knowledge of learning and development theories, approaches, methodologies, and current best practice.
  • Experience of working skills frameworks across both hard and soft skills
  • Able to design and facilitate small or large group in person / virtual workshops and events
  • Excellent project management experience delivering endto end learning and development HR solutions in an collaborative agile model
  • Experience of developing, designing, delivering, and evaluating leadership learning and development frameworks, products and tools that drive strategic and behavioural change (desirable)


You'll possess excellent stakeholder management skills, and comfortable building effective relationships and able to work in partnership with HR business partners, HR leadership, and the business.

Comfortable with data to diagnose issues and make robust data-led decisions to formulate a plan and deliver recommendations/solutions.
