The Story


Our client, a PE backed technology business, has been one of the North Wests best success stories in recent years after growing to c.

£50m post investment.

Given the aggressive growth plans which include internationalisation and M&A, we are seeking an experiencedGroup Financial Controller to partner with the experience CFO in delivering this vision.

You will operate as finance number 2 spearheading the development of finance whilst driving company strategy and communication with overseas sites and the investors.


The Role

  • Production of key MI to exec team and investors
  • Leading a team of 4 qualified accountants
  • Production of monthly board packs and variance analysis
  • Implementing best in class financial controls as the business grows
  • Oversight of international sites with intermittent travel
  • Ensuring a fully compliant finance function
  • Supporting M&A projects inc. onboarding of newly acquired entities
  • Oversight of commercial finance with input into company financial model

The Individual

  • Fully qualified accountant, ideally practice trained (ACA/ACCA)
  • Exposure to private equity is highly advantageous
  • International exposure
  • Leadership qualities
  • Technically proficient
  • Previous exposure to executive leadership
