Position:
Software Applications Engineer


Location of Office:
Newcastle


Salary:
£35,000 - £45,000


The Role:

A new position has now been created for a customer facing Software Applications Engineer to join our clients growing Engineering team in the North Shields area of Newcastle.

Our client are a leading manufacturer of software andhardware solutions for the international gaming industry.

The successful Software Applications Engineer will be tasked with handling incoming customer issues, new product enquiries and acting as a link between customers and the engineering team.


In this role you will get plenty of exposure to the technical challenges that go into the development of a range of software and hardware solutions whilst getting the chance to learn and develop software testing and programming skills from experienced engineers.


Skills and experience required:


  • Software test programming experience with
  • C, C++ or C#
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Strong IT skills

  • Microsoft suite, video calling software packages etc

Desirable skills and experience:


  • Any experience with windows or Linux programming and system administration
  • Software testing experience
  • Relevant degree qualification
