Based in Nottingham, the Installation Team Leader is responsible for both the commercial and operational function of the business for their specified location.

The post holder will have key leadership capabilities to uphold the values of the organization,operate with integrity, lead by example and ensure employees are aligned with the vision and mission of the organisation.

Description

The successful Installation Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Having a hands-on approach and knowledge of installations of the company's products (solar panels, air/ground source heat pumps, EV chargers etc.).
  • Achieving location goals and revenue targets by managing daily operations, budgets and setting clear performance objectives via the implementation of a location specific business plan.
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication and information sharing delivering excellent customer service, internally and externally.
  • Planning, evaluating, and optimising operations, seeking opportunities for efficiency and cost improvements.
  • Driving a culture of highly engaged employees, who feel supported and cared for, ensuring training, development, regular 121s and performance reviews take place.
  • Ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies in accordance with legislation, promoting employee involvement in health and safety, creating a safety culture based on inter dependency.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual business updates, completing reports as required.

Profile

The successful Installation Team Leader will be able to demonstrate the following:

General Experience

  • 5 GCSE/O-Level grades A-C
  • Notable management and leadership experience
  • Experience within the renewable energy industry
  • Degree in business administration, management, or similar field desirable

Technical Skills

  • Account Management and planning
  • Business Development
  • Market, Industry and Competitive Knowledge
  • Product and Technical Knowledge solar panels, ground/air source heat pumps, EV chargers
  • Revenue and Profitability Management
  • Full clean UK driving licence (please note that this role requires extensive travel)

Behavioural Skills

  • Market focused, monitoring competitor activity to identify business opportunities and addressing any business risks.
