The Technical Coordinator is a role within the operations team, reporting to the Operations Director. You will organise the day-to-day duties of the existing coordinators, whilst carrying out the below duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently a service delivery coordinator, or in the field looking for an office position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daytoday planning and project preparations
- Manage client job requests, using your industry knowledge to discuss the work scopes in detail with a view to support their operations
- Determine resource levels of the projects, and identify suitable crews accordingly
- Coordinate the logistics of personnel for field operations
- Negotiate terms with the clients and personnel
- Assist with travel bookings/training courses
- Expand and build relationships with personnel in the industry
- Expand and build relationships with existing clients
- Expand and build relationships with potential new clients
- Monitor and update the internal Resource Management System, including the update of CV's
- Manage/approve personnel timesheets, expenses, and invoices in preparation for the accounts department
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Promote safety awareness to staff and 3rd party personnel
- Promote and host regular meetings with existing clients
- Promote and host daily internal operational meetings
- Organise and monitor daily tasks for the operation coordinators
- Record and investigate any accidents, incidents, injuries that occur during our operations
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth transition of project planning
- Manage personnel queries outside of office hours (excluding weekends you are not on call)
- Manage client requests/communications outside of office hours (excluding weekends you are not on call)
- Manage mobilisation queries outside of office hours (excluding weekends you are not on call)
- Able to travel for client visits, meetings, and exhibitions when required
- Form part of the Company out of hours and weekend on call rota
- Other duties as assigned by the Infobond Directors
- The position is office based, in Gorleston (NR31)
Required experience/attributes
- All offshore industry backgrounds will be considered (technical/crewing/field)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within the offshore industry
- Experience with operational planning of personnel/crews/equipment
- Knowledge and understanding of the various offshore disciplines, work scopes, and terminology
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint Software
- Excellent organisation skills
- Driven, forward thinking, committed, problem solving, multitasking, leadership, adaptability, proactive, reactive, high attention to detail
