Salary:
Up to £90,728 p.a. plus car allowance of £3,500 + 3% of salary


Location:
Midlands/East of England - Home based (Travel as required across our geography)

Are you a strategic leader with direct experience of Asset Investment?


With a clearly defined strategy to grow our business this brand-new role as Director of Asset Investment is your chance to create a legacy, join a leading housing provider at a time of growth and positively impact our mission to improve the lives of ourcustomers.


Leading a team of 40 people you will deliver and strategically manage Longhurst Group's investment decisions relating to its existing assets, including: asset investment, decent homes compliance, decarbonisation, and stock rationalisation.


You will join a sector with unprecedented challenges as it continues to exit the impact of Covid restrictions, implement catch up repairs and meet growing customer demand against a backdrop of rent caps, regulatory requirements, and inefficient systems youwill be required to think creatively, commercially and motivate an experienced team to succeed.


This is your opportunity to bring your expertise and experience to shape future investment across our operating geography and requirements for circa 24,000 homes, helping ensure the most efficient and effective systems are in place to deliver a best-in-classasset investment service.


You will be responsible for leading a significant financial investment budget, be challenged to deliver decarbonisation works to circa 5,000 homes and help shape our thinking around long term stock rationalisation, this is an opportunity for your work toreally improve lives and is a critical appointment for Longhurst Group.


To be successful in this role your CV will need to demonstrate significant experience of managing residential property portfolios, ideally within a regulatory environment as well as the outcomes you have delivered.

We are particularly interested in seeingwhere you have thought strategically and implemented new processes and systems to ensure future stock investment which have demonstrated value for money.
