Description

They will have experience in dealing with the full customer life cycle of a servicing industry, from initial enquiry, planning service jobs, execution and following up with customers.

Experience within the marine service industry and knowledge of UK ports would be advantageous but not essential.


They will be a strong team player and work in partnership with the service team to deliver an exceptional service and solution based mindset to ensure customer satisfaction.

Please note that this is a full-time, on-site position, due to the nature of the role.

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Follow the full life cycle of the customer initial enquiry, through to billing raising purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Including planning allocating arranging stock
  • Tracking progress on job with engineers, processing and collating job sheets, delivery notes and time sheets
  • Ensure customer documentation is completed as per certificate requirements.
  • Arrange invoice and payment for suppliers.
  • Monitor and track calendars to ensure efficient resource planning
  • Make travel arrangements for engineers.
  • Liaise with customer and update regularly progress and outcomes.
  • Utilise systems to maximise efficiency and communication
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing

Requirements:


  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently
  • Experience of systems such as SAGE, SAP or IFS would be beneficial

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,400.00-£26,000.00 per year

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
