We are looking to appoint an Administrative assistant to support the day-to-day activities at our Green Metals site in Deeside.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Administration
  • Regular PPE checks
  • Ensuring all relevant data is saved on the shared drive
  • Regular checking of stationery
  • All relevant data input and the maintenance of all computer systems
  • Fielding and effective relaying of telephone calls
  • Accurate and timely submission of timesheets to Human Resources
  • Updating of banked hours' sheet
  • Updating of waste daily log sheets
  • Effective communication with Senior Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader's and Team Members
  • Ensuring any queries and issues are communicated to the Manager as soon as possible
  • ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Document controller
  • Monitoring and administering FMUK on an hourly basis & Liaising with drivers
  • Requesting costings from suppliers and raising P/O's ready for approval
Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient / Intermediate level
  • Excel (essential)
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and prioritise workloads
  • Must be selfmotivated, proactive and eager to learn new skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A positive approach to work.

Additional Responsibilities
Any other duties relevant to the grade of post as may be designated by the Company

You will be required to complete duties related to FTUK scrap collection, summarised as below:
a) Hourly checking and reporting of scrap collection status.

b) Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of scrap collection information.


In order to do this, you will be required to work intermittently of an evening up to 21.00pm.

These checks should take no more than 10 minutes each hour, provided that there are no serious status problems.

If there are serious problems you must escalate the issue immediately according to an agreed procedure, and support problem resolution.


The Company will provide you with a netbook computer and a mobile phone in order that you can carry out the checks remotely and report status.

You will therefore be able to carry out the checks remotely where you choose, provided that it is safe to do so.

You will be required to log the hours that you work remotely on an hourly basis.

Up to £24,500.00 per year
