An opportunity has arisen to join the School of Social Sciences Academic Administration team as a School Management Administrator.

The School, which has academic departments at the City, Clifton and Mansfield sites, offers a diverse range of course provision and has active links with many external organisations.

The post is part of the School Management Support team who support members of the Senior Management of the School, which includes Executive Dean, Deputy Dean, Associate Dean for Resource and Planning, Associate Dean for Research, Heads of Department, Quality Assurance Managers and Operations Manager.

This post also includes responsibilities for some purchasing activity within the School.

For this post, proven experience of working in a busy and complex administrative environment is essential.

The post involves working with a range of staff and a variety of University clients, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
