Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Carshalton, Sutton?


Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely SEN School based in Carshalton, Sutton starting as soon as possible.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year and upon review there will be anopportunity to go permanent.

The position will be on a daily rate of £80 to £90 dependant on experience.


The School:


The SEN school is 'Good' Ofsted rated providing high quality education for students aged between 5 to 16 years old.

It is a special provision supporting students with SEMH difficulties.

The school pride themselves in creating an environment which allowspupils to be individuals while supporting and developing them in a safe and nurturing environment.

The school offer a broad curriculum with an emphasis on Emotional Literacy, Social Skills and preparation for life beyond the school.

Students are supportedin small classes of up to 9 students taught by specialist Teachers, Teaching Assistants and local Therapists. The school provide parking onsite with solid transport links.


The Position:

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience working within SEN
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
