Purchase Ledger Assistant
Simpson Judge are currently working with a construction company with offices based in Altrincham.

They are looking for a temporary purchase ledger assistant to come in and help out (3 Month FTC).

With a proven record of working with accounting systems and purchase ledger modules, you will be expected to work within the finance team, undertaking all the accounts transactional work, dealing with invoice payments, queries and analysis.


Main responsibilities of the role:

  • Input invoices onto the purchase ledger
  • AP queries from stakeholders and suppliers
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing Payment runs
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Manage outstanding POs
  • Ensure invoices have the appropriate authorisation before paying
  • Liaising with different departments
  • Regular Review of invoices on hold

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Proactive
  • Team Player
  • Previously purchase ledger experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office especially Microsoft excel
  • Ability to work in a time critical environment
  • Nav experience beneficial
