Our client who are a leading law firm and based in superb offices in London are keen to hire a Receptionist on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is fully office based Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.30pm.The law in question offers specialist legal advice across a range of services for personal and business clients.
The Receptionist will be the first person visitors meet and as such must present as professional, efficient and friendly. You will work closely and report to the Head of IT & Facilities.
Duties:
- Meet and Greet clients
- Take coats, umbrellas etc and hang them up (sections on rail for different rooms)
- Contact partner/feeearner who meeting client
- Offer visitors refreshments and advise the Clerks accordingly
- Ensure clients are kept up to date with when feeearners will be joining them
- Ensure adequate number of umbrellas available for clients and they are stored neatly
- Ensure all forms in reception are up to date (partners list, public liability ins)
- Book meeting rooms if requested
- Work with Clerks to clear boardrooms and reset for next meeting
- Ensure boardrooms set up with pens/paper/marketing materials
- Daily update of staff attendance
- Update Moneypenny (Switchboard) on staff movements
- Deal with walkin enquiries
- Liaise with Clerks regarding supplies for reception
- Ensure adequate supplies of tea, coffee etc
- Photocopying ID
- Scanning and Distribution of Post
- Franking and External Post
- Photocopying and Binding
- Preparing Meeting Rooms
- Stationary Stock Check and Orders
- Collection of Confidential Waste
- Banking
About You:
- Must be smart in appearance, punctual and reliable.
- Must be proficient with MS Office
- Must be motivated to achieve personal targets and develop the department.
