Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The Accounts Assistant will support the finance department by performing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records.


Duties:


  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Utilise accounting software such as Sage
  • Support the team in reconciling bank statements
  • Handle inquiries from vendors and clients regarding payments

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage
  • Strong understanding of financial services and principles
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Familiarity with financial reporting procedures
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Working towards AAT qualification preferred

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
