Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our sister company, Equilibrium Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the Greater Manchester area operating 3 care homes, a supported living service and an independent hospital.

You willalso work alongside Leap29, a busy global recruitment business.

This position would report to the IT Director and will be based at our head office in Wilmslow.

20% of your time would be field work across 6 sites within the Greater Manchester area assisting our users on-site as and when necessary.

You are also able towork from home in line with our hybrid working policy.


What you would be responsible for:

• Take ownership of the IT helpdesk, escalating tickets as necessary
• Manage user accounts
• Device configuration and management
• Support with daytoday IT and network maintenance
• Asset management
• Participate in projects as required
• Deputise for the IT Director

The technical experience you will need for this role:

• Microsoft 365 suite; Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online & OneDrive

• Windows 10/1

• Microsoft Office suite
• Mobile device support iOS and Android
• Windows Server 2012 and newer + Active Directory & Group Policy

• Core networking concepts

• DHCP, DNS, VLANs
• VoIP 3CX preferred

• Virtualisation & Cloud

• Hyper-V, AWS & Azure

Nice to have but not essential:

• Network device configuration; Switches, Firewalls, Routers & WiFi APs
• Mimecast
• Veeam
• As this role is partially field based you are required to have a car and a valid driving licence.
