Page Personnel is pleased to be supporting a highly reputable business based in Portsmouth with their recruitment of a temporary Credit Controller to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temporary basis.

The role reports to the Credit Manager and sitswithin a team of 9.

Our client is a highly successful, well known business with their main offices based in Portsmouth.

The newly refurbished offices boast a great working environment with formal desk set ups but also break out spaces for more collaborative working.

The officescan be easily accessed by public transport and commutable from the M27.

Description
As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

Producing monthly reports of all outstanding payments to be chased
Negotiating payment terms with customers
Carrying out credit checks on customers
Allocating cash to the various bank accounts
Dealing with customer queries

Profile
In order to be considered for the Credit Controller position, you must:

Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
Be immediately available or on very short notice
Be able to effectively communicate with customers and build relationships quickly
Be able to multitask
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
