An exciting opportunity has recently become available within our innovative Law Firm Client as a Professional development Coordinator. This is a full time, FTC contract lasting 6-Months, ideally starting early March. This opportunity provides invaluablelegal experience and the opportunity to fine tune your HR abilities.


You will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor in a fast-paced advanced firm; they require an experienced HR administrator that can immediately begin to support and assist the team.

It is vital you have some understanding of Learning & Development, a clearunderstanding of the legal qualification process and legal knowledge as well as strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take lead role in the planning, logistics and coordination of lawyer professional development programs,
- projects and initiatives, including both legal skills and professional skills training

  • Create program communications, including invitations, reminders, program materials, agendas,
- branding and online surveys

  • Serve as primary logístical support in London and in coordination with Manager of PD Events and
  • Operations for PD conferences, retreats and largescale events, including onsite support in London as
- needed.

  • Strategically schedule training programs/events while avoiding internal scheduling conflicts, holidays,
- and other circumstances that would impact attendance

  • Coordinate event and meeting logistics across offices, including reserving meeting rooms,
- coordinating meeting room set-up, arranging food and beverage services, and ensuring IT/AV
- requirements are met; resolving issues where necessary,

  • Troubleshoot logístical problems and continuously look for process improvement with creative
- solutions

  • Develop knowledge of other department functions to recommend and implement collaborative solutions
  • Schedule PD program planning meetings and attend weekly team calls, other program planning
- meetings and 1:1s

  • Provide creative input into design meetings
  • Maintain the PD Worksite files and physical team resources, ordering supplies/resources as necessary
  • Maintain Training and Professional Development Calendar and update INN Group and firm wide
  • Business and Litigation Department Event Calendars
  • Support the digital learning initiative with administrative needs, including adding/updating content on
- professional development resources are current, accessible, and meet technical and functional
- requirements (file formats, file storage, naming conventions, etc.)

  • Provide scheduling and administrative support for the internal executive coaching initiative
  • Submit electronic expense reports and track reimbursements for the team, assist with budget planning
- and financial documentation

  • Use online research tools, produce data reports and analyses as requested, and develop visual
- presentations for internal team and firm wide reports

  • Proofread own and other's work with attention to detail and accuracy consistently following
- standardized rules of language regarding spelling, punctuation, grammar, word usage, and sentence
- structure
