Vac-Ex Ltd is an international designer and manufacturer of specialist vacuum excavation equipment based in a new, modern office environment in Thorne, Doncaster.

Established in 2008, we are a growing team with a range of services and divisions including:
Design, Fabrication, Assembly, UK Sales, Export Sales, Hire, Training, Service and Parts Shop.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who will support the management and development of overall strategic and operational brand awareness, promoting our products and services across a broad spectrum of media.

Roles and responsibilities:


Social Media Management:

• Create a social media calendar.
• Manage and grow their social media presence by creating content that drives audience engagement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and leverage social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.

Content Creation:

• Source advertising opportunities and place adverts/advertorial material in trade magazines.

Events

• Assist the UK & Exports Sales Managers to organise and (at times) attend events, liaising with colleagues for arranging travel, hotel bookings, etc.
• Coordination of exhibition calendar
• UK and overseas
• Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials internally and to our overseas business partners.

General Marketing

• Maintain and update customer databases.
• Liaise with inhouse or external creative agencies (such as marketing agencies, web developers, audio visual professionals, photographers, and printers).
• Updating website through CMS.
• Any other tasks required for the efficient running of the marketing department.

Key Skills (mandatory)

• Experience with social media management platforms like Hootsuite,
• Familiarity with all social media channels.
• Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Reliable, able to meet deadlines and work well in a busy team.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to work to brand guidelines.

Key Skills (Desirable)

• Foreign languages
• Design skills (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience with Content Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics

Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
