Head of Res, Groups and M&E to join the team.

As our Head of Res, Groups and M&E you will lead the team taking accountability for the hotel groups and events performance and identifying any opportunities or risks in all revenue streams.

Working with the Hotels Revenue Manager preparing budgets you will need experience in forecasting and strategic planning.

With a minimum of 3 years' management experience within a Hotel Conference Sales and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience within a hotel commercial office in a management role you will be able to drive business in total revenue approach, ensuring the agreed strategy is implemented across the Groups & Events team and other departments in the hotel.

You will ensure all team members are properly trained on all systems and service standards and will develop talent pipeline and personal development plan across the function.

Owning performance reviews and ongoing colleague engagement building confidence in the team and recognising good performance which in turn creates pride in the team to deliver a consistent guest experience.

You are able to analyse problems, understand underlying issues, root causes, and make right. You have a proven track record of delivering results and create an environment where best practice can be shared. You have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written along with your knowledge of the local market and of Reservations and C&E tools and systems (CONCERTO, Opera, Delphi) makes you the ideal person for the role
