We are collaborating to find a National Counsellor for one of the organization's dedicated Health and Wellbeing Centres in Cambridge.

These dedicated Health and Wellbeing Centres provide a dynamic approach to health and wellbeing, promoting physical and mental health as a means of underlining their message to keep society healthy.

As a National Counsellor, you will have a wealth of expertise working with a modest daily case load of patients who have had a Mental Health problem as well as past trauma and have a firm understanding of a step-care approach to therapy.

In this role, you will be responsible for the therapeutic care of a small case load of patients who have been referred by their Medical Insurance provider or are self-paying, and you will engage with them in a variety of ways, including assessing and conducting patient interviews to identify areas where the individual may wish to see change, as well as assessing the potential risk they may pose to others.

You will also be responsible for aiding your client in getting more dedicated care, such as through their GP, when it is determined that the organisation is unable to fully satisfy the client's true needs.
