The Trust has a fabulous opportunity for an exceptionally talented, passionate, person centred HR professional to join our driven workforce team in providing a high quality HR service to a clinical division and divisional management team - supporting and advising on change management and OD initiatives, complex and sensitive employee relations and workforce issues and divisional workforce planning and strategy formulation.

If you are passionate about working in HR, have significant HR experience at a senior level in a complex organisation, a demonstrable track record of delivery, a sound understanding of HR best practice and employment law, highly skilled in ER case management and organisational change with the ability to advise and support managers with complex people management issues - we would truly love to hear from you.


The Heads of Workforce are members of the Divisional Boards and are responsible for leading the HR provision in the Division - providing expert advice on a full range of workforce matters.


The role leads on the provision of strategic and HR/OD direction for the Division to support the delivery of high quality patient care, efficiencies and Trust and Divisional strategic objectives.

The Heads of Workforce work proactively with Divisional Directors, Associate Directors of Operations, Divisional Heads of Nursing, Heads of Finance and other senior stakeholders both internal and external to support forward planning, transformation, engagement and workforce performance, embedding good HR practice and raising management capability within the Division.

The Heads of Workforce lead on the Divisional implementation of Trust wide initiatives and influence and drive business objectives.

The Heads of Workforce support the Associate Directors of Workforce to achieve the team's and directorate's strategic objectives.
